Does all Las Vegas locksmith work cost the same or is there different prices for different sides of town?

Do all clients in Las Vegas pay the same for locksmith work. This is what could be a very controversial question. So lets start to dig in. Most Las Vegas locksmith companies are located in the Southwest, Summerlin (west), and Northwest. This could lead to many answers. For one, if there's not much locksmith Las Vegas companies operating in the Eastside of town it could be that the competition is just not there to fight for the cliental. This would mean that if there's only a few locksmiths in the area that they can charge what they pretty much want. Another aspect, if a locksmith has to drive 30 minutes to get to the job than you would probably get charged more for the service call. So when speaking to customers that have called around to get a price on car lockouts here's what I'm told. Most car lockouts on the eastside are being quoted a price of $85 to get their car opened, while customers that have called for locksmith service in the southwest to northwest are being averagely quoted at $75. This does not sound to bad considering that the average Las Vegas locksmith would have to travel more to get to the area.

Another point of view that was brought up, was do customers pay more for locksmith service in certain areas when it comes to home services. This was a little more difficult to answer, and here's why. The average Las Vegas locksmith receipt for work done at a home in Summerlin was above $300. And the average locksmith charge in the eastside was below $200. Now one hundred dollars is quite a bit of money so lets look into the matter. The average job that locksmiths get in Summerlin ends up getting new locks along with some labor, while the average job in the eastside ends up being just all labor. This means that locksmith Las Vegas service providers are less likely to sell locks or Hardware on the eastside of town. Now we don't have hard evidence as to why, but some people would say that the average income in Summerlin is higher allowing people the capability to spend more money on their security. On the other hand, some people would say because the crime map shows more crime on the eastside that customers there should spend more on their security. My answer to them is, if you don't have the money than you don't have the money. It's no different than saying why do more people have home alarms on the northwest and Summerlin side of town than the eastside, simply put it's all about the disposable income.

Do locksmith customers in Henderson pay more than customers in Summerlin-Northwest. This is a very valid question because even though Henderson has fewer locksmith companies compare to the amount of locksmiths that cover Summerlin or the Northwest, it seems they spend less. This could be because the Las Vegas locksmith clientele and the Henderson locksmith clientele have a different outlook on how safe it is where they live. When you talk to people who live in Henderson they seem to feel that in most areas in Henderson it's pretty safe, where when you talk to people who live in Las Vegas you hear that they feel it has been getting worse every year.

ON A FINAL NOTE- To me it seems that the Las Vegas locksmith consumer has more money to spend on the Summerlin-Northwest side of town and therefore are able to buy better security. As far as the car lockout service. It makes sense that if most Las Vegas locksmith companies would have to travel more that it would cost more for the service. As to the Henderson consumer spending less on an average compare to the Summerlin-Northwest consumer, I believe it's an excuse that the consumer gives to the locksmith so the locksmith will stop trying to sell them higher-end products.

Be aware that in Henderson Nevada there are break-ins and if you are looking for excuses to avoid spending money on better locks or a security system, than you are only fulling yourself in order to justify not spending money. Think about that. locksmith Las Vegas.
